Our Philosophy

At Olive & Ash, we believe healing begins in a space of safety, steadiness, and respect. We serve individuals and couples navigating betrayal trauma, addiction recovery, relational pain, and unresolved trauma. Our trauma-informed, evidence-based approach prioritizes trust and emotional stability before deeper work begins.

We approach each client with dignity and compassion. You are not a problem to be fixed, but a person with a story worth understanding. Through collaborative care and steady support, we help you move toward growth and restoration.

Individual Counseling

Individual counseling offers a confidential space to process your story, understand patterns, and move toward restoration. Many of our clients seek support for addiction recovery, trauma healing, relational pain, and personal growth.

Addiction Recovery

We provide specialized support for individuals struggling with compulsive sexual behaviors or pornography use. Therapy focuses on identifying underlying causes, building accountability structures, addressing relational impact, and developing long-term recovery tools that support lasting stability.

  • Stabilization after discovery

  • Trauma-informed care for the betrayed partner

  • Accountability and growth for the offending partner

We help couples improve communication, rebuild emotional safety, address recurring patterns of conflict, and strengthen intimacy. Through steady, structured support, therapy focuses on restoring trust, deepening understanding, and creating healthier relational dynamics that foster lasting connection.

Couples Disclosure Intensives

A Couples Disclosure Intensive is a structured, therapist-guided process designed to bring clarity, honesty, and understanding after betrayal. Through a carefully prepared and supported full disclosure, both partners are given the information they need to begin healing—without unnecessary harm or confusion.

This approach is especially helpful for couples navigating infidelity, compulsive behaviors, or unresolved questions that make it difficult to move forward.

Trauma Therapy

Evidence-Based Treatment for Lasting Change

Trauma can affect more than memories. It can shape the nervous system, influence emotional responses, impact relationships, and alter how you experience safety in the world. Our therapy is designed to address these effects at both the cognitive and physiological levels. We utilize trauma-informed, evidence-based modalities that help the brain and body process experiences in a way that reduces long-term distress.

EMDR

(Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing)

EMDR is a well-researched therapy that helps the brain reprocess traumatic memories so they no longer carry the same emotional intensity. Through guided bilateral stimulation, clients are able to revisit difficult experiences in a structured and contained way, allowing the nervous system to integrate memories more adaptively and reduce triggers over time.

ART

(Accelerated Resolution Therapy)

ART is a structured trauma treatment that uses eye movements and imagery techniques to help reduce distress connected to traumatic memories. Many clients experience relief in fewer sessions compared to traditional talk therapy. ART works to change the way distressing memories are stored, helping them feel less intrusive and emotionally overwhelming.
