A counseling relationship is formed only after completion of intake documentation, signed
informed consent, an initial session, and agreement by the clinician to provide services.

 

 

4. Texas Licensure

Services are provided by a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Texas and
regulated by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council.

 

 

5. Not a Crisis Resource

This website is not monitored at all times. In case of emergency, call 911, visit your nearest
emergency room, or call/text 988.

 

 

 

6. Geographic Limitation

Clinical services are provided only to individuals physically located in the State of Texas at the
time services are rendered, in accordance with Texas law.

NOTICE OF COMPLAINT PROCESS

The Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC) investigates and prosecutes professional misconduct committed by marriage and family therapists, professional counselors, psychologists, psychological associates, social workers, and licensed specialists in school psychology. Although not every complaint against or dispute with a licensee involves professional misconduct, the Executive Council will provide you with information about how to file a complaint.
