Where Healing and Renewal Take Root

The name Olive & Ash reflects a central belief of this practice: that restoration can emerge from even the most difficult experiences.

Ash often represents what has been lost, burned, or broken. It speaks to seasons of grief, betrayal, pain, or emotional exhaustion. The olive branch, long associated with peace and endurance, represents renewal, growth, and steady restoration. Together, they tell a story of hope—that something meaningful can take root even after hardship.

At Olive & Ash, pain is acknowledged honestly. Stories are honored with care. We believe no part of your story is wasted—and that peace and restoration remain possible, even when life feels fractured. We offer in-person sessions in Friendswood and serve clients in Alvin, Pearland, and Webster, with virtual counseling available across Texas.

Meet our dedicated clinicians committed to creating a safe, supportive space for healing through thoughtful care, ethical practice, and deep respect for each individual’s story.

Melissa Anderson

LPC, LMHC, CSAT

At Olive & Ash, I believe meaningful healing begins when a person feels emotionally safe and understood. Many of the clients I work with are navigating experiences marked by pain, loss, confusion, or betrayal, and are seeking greater stability and clarity. My role is to provide a steady, compassionate, and professional presence as you process your experiences and begin working toward restoration and growth.

It is a privilege to support individuals during vulnerable seasons of life. I strive to create a space where you feel respected, supported, heard, and free from judgment or pressure. Therapy is not about fixing you; it is about helping you strengthen insight, reconnect with your resilience, and move forward with confidence and purpose.

Olive and Ash

Ash represents what has been burned, broken, or lost—
the seasons of grief, trauma, and sorrow that leave us changed.
Ash tells the truth of suffering and honors what has been endured.

Olive has long been a symbol of peace, healing, and renewal.
It speaks of restoration after hardship, hope after the storm,
and life that continues to grow even in difficult soil.

Together, Olive and Ash holds space for both—
the reality of pain and the possibility of beauty.
This is a place where nothing is wasted,
where stories are treated with reverence,
and where healing is allowed to unfold gently and honestly.

From ash, peace can grow.
From what was broken, something beautiful can emerge.
